Description:
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee daily site operations to ensure work is executed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and schedules
- Set out and level works accurately using approved surveying methods and equipment
- Coordinate subcontractors and trades to maintain efficient site workflow
- Monitor workmanship and enforce quality control and safety standards
- Interpret construction drawings and resolve technical queries on site
- Maintain accurate site records, reports, and progress documentation
- Assist with short-term planning, resource coordination, and progress tracking
- Communicate effectively with project teams, consultants, and site stakeholders
- Identify risks, delays, or issues and escalate appropriately
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, site set-out, and tolerances
- Proficiency with surveying equipment and construction-related software
- Sound knowledge of quality, safety, and engineering standards
- Strong organisational, communication, and coordination skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site priorities
- Willingness to travel or work across multiple project sites as required
