ð?? Key Responsibilities:Prepare and review substation electrical designs and drawings, including single-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, and protection layouts. Support the design of HV/MV equipment such as transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, busbars, earthing/grounding systems, and protection systems. Conduct calculations for short-circuit levels, cable sizing, load flow, protection coordination, and earthing/grounding. Develop technical specifications, design reports, bill of quantities (BOQ), and engineering documentation. Work closely with civil, structural, and protection teams to ensure design integration. Provide technical support during equipment procurement, factory acceptance tests (FAT), and site installation activities. Ensure that all designs comply with the relevant standards (IEC / IEEE / local codes) and client requirements. Assist with project planning, quality reviews, and engineering deliverables throughout the project lifecycle. ð??? Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems Engineering. Experience in substation design (HV/MV/LV) for utility, industrial, or EPC projects. Good understanding of protection systems, grounding, insulation coordination, and substation components. Familiarity with design tools such as AutoCAD, Eplan, ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, or similar. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams.
