Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Relevant technical qualification or trade certification will be advantageous (Electrical and plumbing)
- Minimum 35 years experience in facilities maintenance within a manufacturing or beverage/food environment.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and building maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
General Maintenance
Perform day-to-day general maintenance of buildings and facilities. Carry out minor repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, tiling, and basic mechanical work. Conduct regular inspections of the site to identify maintenance issues and safety risks. Ensure all lighting, doors, locks, windows, and fixtures are in good working order.Facilities & Infrastructure
Maintain offices, warehouses, ablution facilities, parking areas, and common areas. Monitor HVAC, generators, pumps, and other facility-related equipment (where applicable). Assist with office setups, moves, and basic installations.Health, Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) regulations. Report hazards, incidents, and equipment faults immediately. Ensure maintenance work is conducted safely and according to company procedures. Assist during safety audits and inspections.Contractors & Service Providers
Liaise with external contractors for specialised maintenance work. Supervise contractors on-site to ensure work is completed to standard. Sign off on completed work and report any issues.Administration & Reporting
Record all maintenance activities and repairs. Complete job cards, checklists, and maintenance logs. Report recurring faults and recommend preventative maintenance solutions.How to Apply:
