Roles and Responsibilities- The Production Manager is fully responsible for
- Daily production output
- Workflow discipline
- Staff productivity
- Quality control
- On-time order completion
- Workshop order & structure
- Plan daily production targets
- Assign work per department (prep, assembly, sanding, steel, finishing, dispatch)
- Ensure production starts ON TIME every day
- Track output vs target DAILY
- Ensure no idle labour or confusion
- Manage production schedule based on orders
- Prioritise urgent and marketplace orders
- Ensure deadlines are met
- Communicate delays BEFORE they happen
- 35+ years managing a manufacturing workshop
- Proven experience with production teams
- Strong leadership and discipline
- Process-driven mindset
- Comfortable with targets, KPIs, and reporting
- Physically present and hands-on
