Description:
- We are llooking for Junior Analysts to join our client in the banking industry. This is a Contract role from February 2026 to June 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute predefined test cases to various FIP disclosures (e.g., segment reporting, notes, reconciliations).
- Execute tests on GRDC Forms and SAP BTP workflows, ensuring data flows and validations are correct.
- Assist in identifying data anomalies, workflow errors, and disclosure mismatches.
- Document test results, raise defects, and support resolution tracking.
- Collaborate with the CA and FIPs team to ensure test coverage aligns with financial reporting requirements.
Accounting & Financial Expertise
- Good understanding of IFRS.
- Experience in consolidation and disclosure requirements.
- Experience preparing FIPs or similar data collection systems aiding the compilation of the annual financial statements, including:
- Notes to the financial statements
- Reconciliation of reported vs. consolidated figures.
FIP or Disclosure Toolset Expertise
- Basic familiarity with disclosure related systems
SAP Knowledge
- Familiarity with SAP GRDC and SAP BTP
- Understanding of how financial data flows through SAP systems (not necessarily technical config).
Testing & QA
- Experience in System Integration Testing (SIT)or User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Skilled in executing test cases that reflect real-world financial scenarios.
- Able to identify and escalate issues related to data integrity, compliance, or workflow failures.
Preferred Background
- BCom degree (or higher) in accounting sciences
- 1–3 years in financial reporting, audit or SAP finance projects.
- Exposure to SAP Group Reporting or similar consolidation tools.
Soft Skills
- Quick study: A bility to grasp complex concepts in a timely manner.
- Detail-oriented: Precision in reviewing financial disclosures and test results.
- Analytical: Able to spot inconsistencies in financial data and workflow behaviour.
- Collaborative: Works well with finance, IT, and development teams and in a professional manner. Good communication skills.
- Documentation-focused: Comfortable executing test plans and documenting defect logs and SIT reports.
- Accountability: Ability to take accountability and remain confidential when handling sensitive financial data.
