Rate: R15,000 - R20,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)

Accommodation provided for non-local candidates Lunch pack provided daily to all non-local employees Job PurposeWe are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician for a 3-month project in Newcastle. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical installations, maintenance, and fault-finding in accordance with safety regulations and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment Conduct fault-finding and troubleshooting on electrical installations Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics Ensure compliance with OHSA and electrical safety standards Perform inspections and testing of electrical systems Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe condition Work closely with site supervisors and other trades on site Complete work within project timelines and quality standards Minimum Requirements Qualified Electrician (Trade Test Certificate - Red Seal preferred) Valid electrical certification and compliance Minimum 3-5 years' electrical experience (construction/industrial environment advantageous) Sound knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physically fit and able to work on site Willingness to work away from home (non-locals accommodated) Additional Advantage Previous project-based or contract experience Experience in industrial or commercial installations
