They are looking for a Design Office Engineering Manager who combines strong technical depth with people leadership and an innovative mindset. The RoleAs the Design Office Engineering Manager, you will be leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams responsible for the complete design of mineral processing plants . This is a hands-on leadership role requiring deep technical expertise, strong people management skills, and the ability to drive quality, efficiency, and innovation while remaining close to technical details.
This role suits an engineer who has already led teams or projects and is ready to grow into broader leadership.

- Qualifications
BSc or BEng in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering - ECSA Pr.Eng registration (essential)
- Experience & Skills
10–14 years’ experience in the mineral processing industry - Proven involvement in designing complete processing plants
- Strong Tekla Structures experience (essential)
- Prior team or design office management experience
- Experience in fast-track EPC / EPCM environments
- Innovative, practical, and solutions-driven mindset
- Lead and coordinate the design office and engineering teams
- Oversee plant layout, structural, mechanical, and process design integration
- Ensure designs meet technical, safety, cost, and constructability requirements
- Drive innovation, standardisation, and continuous improvement
- Manage design deliverables, schedules, and resources
- Collaborate with projects, procurement, construction, and clients
- Mentor and develop engineers and designers
- Fast-moving, high-performance culture
