Description:
We are seeking an experienced Trauma Sales Representative to drive sales and foster strong relationships within private orthopedic units in the Gauteng region. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the medical device sector, proven connections with orthopedic specialists, and the ability to work on-call as required.Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with orthopedic specialists and key stakeholders in private hospitals
Promote and sell trauma-related medical devices and solutions within assigned territories
Respond promptly to on-call requirements to support customer needs and urgent cases
Provide detailed product knowledge and training to healthcare professionals
Prepare and submit regular sales reports and maintain accurate administrative records
Negotiate effectively to close sales and achieve targets
Collaborate with the sales team and management to develop sales strategies
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
Requirements:
Key RequirementsMinimum of 3 years sales experience in the Medical Device sector
Proven relationships with orthopedic specialists are essential
Sound knowledge of human anatomy, particularly musculoskeletal system
Own a reliable vehicle and hold a valid driver’s license
Excellent command of English; proficiency in other languages is advantageous
Strong administrative and reporting skills
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
PC literate with ability to use common office software and sales tools
Ability to work effectively under pressure
Must be willing and able to work on-call as required
Relevant background checks will be conducted
