Description:

Crack Repairs SA is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Stitching Technician to join our specialist team. You will be responsible for the Crack Repairs using high-grade steel staples. This role is critical in restoring the integrity of residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities

Assessment: Identify the nature of masonry cracks and determine the appropriate stitching patterns.

Installation: Expertly cut horizontal slots into mortar beds, install staples.

Finishing: Ensure all repair areas are finished to match existing masonry, leaving the site clean and aesthetically restored.

Quality Control: Follow strict specifications to ensure structural safety and long-term durability.

Equipment Care: Maintain specialized tools (wall chasers, grout guns, and hand tools) in top working condition.

Requirements

Experience: At least 2–3 years of experience in masonry, bricklaying, or specialized structural repair.

Technical Skill: Proficiency in using power tools and a steady hand for precision cutting and pointing.

Physical Fitness: Ability to work on ladders/scaffolding and perform manual labour.

Driver’s License: Valid South African driver’s license (Code 8 or 10).

Mindset: A strong eye for detail and a commitment to "doing it right the first time."
