Description:
Role Purpose The Project Engineer (Civil Focus) is responsible for the technical oversight, quality control, and compliance management of all civil and structural works associated with the Solar PV project. This role ensures that construction execution adheres strictly to design specifications, quality standards, and local building regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Technical & Design Management:
Act as the primary technical point of contact on site for all civil and structural matters (earthworks, foundations, roads, drainage, buildings). Interpret, review, and apply complex design drawings and specifications (Issued for Construction - IFC) in the field. Initiate and execute necessary design modifications (Field Change Requests) based on site topography, geotechnical findings, or unforeseen conditions, ensuring proper documentation and approval. Construction Execution:
Manage and coordinate daily civil and structural construction activities to maintain project schedule and budget. Oversee the accuracy of critical installations, particularly PV array piling/foundation interfaces and control building construction.
Quality Control (QA/QC):
Ensure strict quality control for all civil materials (e.g., aggregate, concrete) and workmanship through rigorous site inspections and testing procedures. Coordinate with the QA/QC team for necessary testing, sampling, and documentation.
