Description:

Minimum Requirements: Qualification in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Process Technology (Diploma or Degree). Minimum of 5 years experience in beverage production, flavour manufacturing, or liquid processing environments. Hands-on experience with emulsification processes, homogenisation, and industrial mixing equipment. Working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards. Ability to carry out basic quality and analytical tests including pH, viscosity, and visual inspections. Proficient in computer systems, with exposure to SAP or similar manufacturing systems being an advantage. High level of accuracy with a strong focus on quality and consistency. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a team. Analytical thinker with a solutions-driven approach. Able to interpret and execute technical instructions and SOPs precisely. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting production deadlines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manufacture emulsions in line with approved recipes, batch documentation, and established operating procedures. Measure, blend, and process raw materials such as flavours, oils, stabilising agents, and emulsifiers with a high degree of accuracy. Operate, control, and oversee emulsification equipment including high-shear mixers and homogenisers. Perform in-process quality assessments such as pH, viscosity, and visual checks to confirm compliance with specifications. Accurately complete production documentation and ensure full batch and material traceability. Ensure all equipment and production areas are cleaned and maintained according to GMP and hygiene standards. Assist in identifying, investigating, and resolving production deviations or non-conforming batches. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure products meet safety, quality, and release criteria. Comply with all health, safety, and environmental requirements, including correct use of PPE and safe chemical handling. Contribute to continuous improvement projects and support initiatives aimed at enhancing processes and efficiencies
