The Role: Director of Nursing / Nursing Manager
This role leads all nursing operations across the hospital and ambulatory services. You will oversee planning, direction, and control of nursing care, ensuring compliance with health regulations and internal quality standards. The position also plays a critical part in executive-level planning, policy formulation, and organisational development.
Key Responsibilities

Minimum 5 years experience as Director or Assistant Director of Nursing in an accredited hospital

Manage and direct all nursing services to deliver high-quality patient care

Develop and implement nursing policies, systems, and staffing structures

Ensure nurse assignments align with qualifications, licensure, and patient acuity

Lead internal quality programs including QA and CQI initiatives

Serve on hospital-wide committees (e.g. Pharmacy, Infection Control, Medical Records)

Oversee training, professional development, and retention of nursing staff

Ensure compliance with Ministry of Health and licensing board regulations

Participate in executive-level planning and healthcare operations

Recommend resources for staffing, space, and equipment needs

Ensure safe practices in infection control, equipment use, and medication management
About You
-
Bachelors Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution

Current valid RN license in country of origin and Saudi Council registration

5+ years in a senior nursing management role in a hospital setting

Proficient in English; Arabic language skills advantageous

Strong knowledge of healthcare quality standards, infection control, and staff education

Decisive, innovative leader with sound judgment and the ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams
