The Financial Advisor role is a permanent, full-time position suited to individuals with 2–3 years of full-time work experience who are looking to build a long-term career in financial services .

This role is not suitable for school leavers or first-time job seekers .
No prior financial services experience is required – full training and mentorship are provided.

Requirements:

As a Financial Advisor, your purpose is to build trust and long-term relationships with clients by understanding their financial goals and providing appropriate, compliant financial solutions.

You will do impactful work by empowering clients to make informed financial decisions. Through training and hands-on experience, you will develop a strong understanding of financial planning, investments, and risk solutions, and learn how to confidently communicate these to clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain long-term, trusted client relationships

  • Conduct professional client meetings (face-to-face and virtual)

  • Identify client needs and provide tailored financial planning solutions

  • Educate clients on investments, risk planning, and long-term wealth creation

  • Grow your own client base through referrals, networking, and prospecting

  • Take end-to-end ownership of client engagements and maintain accurate records

  • Ensure adherence to FAIS and regulatory compliance requirements

  • Actively participate in ongoing training, coaching, and development initiatives

  • Matric (Grade 12) – essential

  • 2–3 years of full-time work experience (any industry)

  • Valid South African ID

  • Valid driver’s licence and own reliable car

  • Willingness to undergo credit, criminal, and background checks

  • Tertiary qualification advantageous but not required
