TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Execution Manager: Grain Trading within the Grain division at Pretoria, Gauteng.Job Summary
This role involves managing the end-to-end execution of grain trading transactions, ensuring accurate administration, effective logistical coordination, and strong process control from contract conclusion through to final delivery and settlement.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Trading administration, including deal capturing, confirmations, and documentation
- Execution of grain trading contracts in line with agreed terms and timelines
- Coordination of logistics with internal teams, silos, transporters, and counterparties
- Ongoing process control to ensure compliance, accuracy, and risk mitigation
- Contract management, including monitoring performance, amendments, and closures
- Liaising with traders, operations, finance, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution
- Identifying execution risks and resolving operational issues proactively
Qualifications and Skills
- Matric / Grade 12
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Agriculture, Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field
- 5 years’ experience in grain trading, trading execution, or agricultural operations
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Sound understanding of contracts, logistics flows, and process controls
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Strong coordination and follow-through
- Analytical and problem-solving ability
- Effective communication and stakeholder management
- Process-driven with a risk-aware mindset
- Valid Driver’s License (Code 08)
- Willing to travel
- Valid Passport (advantageous)
