- Accounting or Finance Degree
- 3 - 5 yearsâ experience as an Accountant in the manufacturing or FMCG industry
- Proficient in accounting software
- Strong knowledge of South African tax laws and compliance requirements
- Manage full accounting functions
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers and reports
- Assist with monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements
- Oversee cash flow, budgeting and forecasting
- Handle and ensure compliance with VAT, PAYE, UIF and any other statutory returns in line with SARS requirements
- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants and external stakeholders
- Support management with ad-hoc financial analysis and decision-making
- Identifying and mitigating financial risks, such as market, credit and operational risks
