Leipzig Country House & Winery, based in Worcester (Nuy Valley), is looking for a friendly, hardworking & reliable team player with excellent communication skills (Afrikaans & English) & attention to detail, to drive the Events Department.Duties will include (but not be limited to): *establishing & maintaining relationships with vendors & clients *proper planning of event details with clients *manage event budget & collecting payments *addressing potential problems that may arise during events *Manage all event operations (preparing venue, staffing etc.) *maintain proper administration (quotations, contracts, payments) *assist the Accommodation Manager with reservations, guest check-ins, & check-outs *all other tasks related to this role.
Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• Matric with 2-year diploma in Hospitality/Event Management OR
• Minimum of 3 years’ working experience in Functions/Events in Hospitality;
• Wedding coordinating experience beneficial;
• Knowledge of conference/event preparation techniques;
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills & attentive, friendly & service-oriented manner;
• Computer literacy (MS Office, Nightsbridge, Canva);
• Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
• Willingness work shifts, weekends and public holidays. This is a necessity & non-negotiable.
Commencement date: 1 February 2026 or soon thereafter.
This is a live-in position (non-negotiable) - Farm cottage accommodation available for the successful candidate.
