iqbusiness is seeking to employ a Data Entry and Quality Operator Team Lead on a 12-month contract to collaborate with an international partner from our offices in Welgemoed, Cape Town, Northern Suburbs. This is a hybrid role (3 days on-site; 2 days WFH).As the leader of our Data Quality team, you will champion data integrity across our systems, prioritising accuracy and consistency. You’ll oversee daily data entry and validation, troubleshoot challenges, and refine processes to keep information clean and reliable. Working closely with technical and alumni teams, you’ll ensure their needs are met and drive improvements that enhance data quality. This role combines hands-on oversight with collaborative problem-solving, ensuring every record is accurate, complete, and ready to power smooth operations. Key Responsibilities :
- Assign and track team tasks, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Act as the go-to person for complex issues and team questions.
- Lead weekly meetings to review progress and address challenges.
- Guide, train, and support team members on data quality best practices.
- Monitor team performance and provide feedback.
- Regularly review and validate data entered by the team.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Accurately enter and update data in Salesforce and other tools.
- Perform data checks, correct errors, and support data cleaning and automation.
- Collaborate with technical teams and supervisors to improve processes.
Minimum Requirements :
- Tertiary Qualification in Information Management, Office Administration, Business Administration, Quality Management or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in data quality, data operations, or CRM data management
- Minimum 2 years in a team lead or supervisory capacity
- Proven track record of maintaining high data integrity
- Salesforce (or similar CRM) proficiency: daily data capture and updates, deduplication, validation rules, reports, and basic automation

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling information.
- Good typing speed and data entry skills.
- Ability to follow procedures and work with standardised rules.
- Reliable, organised and able to meet deadlines in repetitive tasks.
- Excellent communication skills.
