Apart from the various consumer brands, the VKB Group is also represented by its regional brands: VKB, GWK and NTK. Job Description
The Information and Technology Graduate position will develop core skills in the areas outlined below by undertaking the required on-the-job training, by assisting Innovation & Technology Analyst with different Admin-related tasks to obtain valuable on-the-job experience.
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate
- BSC Computer Science
- Computer Literate in MS office package is essential.
- Must be joining an Internship/ Graduate Program for the first time.
- Code 8 Driver's License and own vehicle
- Clear Criminal Record
- Medically fit
Duties and Responsibilities
Please note the tasks outlined below will be performed under the guidance and supervision of the applicable trainer, until such a time the candidate is signed off as fully competent in all areas:
- Infrastructure and Network Architecture : Use established methodology to analyse available services and infrastructure.
- Ensure Process Analysis and Design for Execution
- Data Analysis: Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes
- Set up and maintain automated data processes
- Prepare reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics reporting tools
- Report regularly to management
- Business Analysis: Use data modelling practices to analyse your findings and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes
- Support Developers in making your recommended changes, including helping to resolve any issues
- Analyse and Understand the VKB Facilities
- Communicate with Business to understand the needs of departments and the organisation as a whole
- Innovation: Continuously develop innovation practices and ideation funnel. Support the Group’s vision and strategic plan for digital platforms. Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation
- Research: Perform research on topics that include but are not limited to: Industry best practices, market trends, technologies
- Identify how the research will impact the Group
- Document and store research for future reference
