Description:
Cold Store in Parow Industria requires Cold Store Assistant with valid Reach truck and Forklift (F1A) licence to start immediately. Must have both Reach truck (F5A) and Forklift licence (F1A)
Minimum Requirements:
SA citizen with Grade 12 and valid Reach truck and Forklift licence
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Physically fit and able to work in a cold store environment where the temperature is extremely cold (necessary PPE is provided)
Must reside in the northern suburbs for easier travelling to and from work.
Working hours: 06:30 am - 17:00 pm (Monday - Friday) No weekends. No shifts.
Willing to work during the December and January festive period. We don't shutdown, it is our busy period, only closed on the public holidays.
Duties:
Accurate stock control and stock rotation (FIFO)
De-racking of shelves
Sorting and stacking pallets
Cleaning the cold store (walls, floors, doors, workstations)
Operating the reach truck and forklift is a small part of this position
which involves various tasks associated with the cold store facility.
