We are seeking a high-energy, fast-learning, and reliable Front Desk Coordinator to take on a key leadership role within our Sorbet salon. This position requires someone who leads by example, communicates confidently, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
The Front Desk Coordinator plays a vital role in driving daily operations, managing money and stock, supporting the team, and ensuring the front desk runs smoothly at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage front desk operations to Sorbet brand standards Deliver outstanding guest service and be the first point of contact Manage bookings, scheduling, and daily salon flow Handle all cash, card, and digital payments accurately Perform daily cash balancing and cash-ups Conduct stock taking and assist with stock control Support and guide staff during busy periods Multitask efficiently while remaining calm under pressure Upsell services, packages, and retail products Resolve guest queries professionally and proactively Ensure the reception area is always organised, professional, and welcomingRequirements & Skills
Proven experience in a front desk, retail and services sales, or customer-facing leadership role Excellent communication skills and confident interpersonal style Fast learner with the ability to adapt quickly to systems and processes High energy levels and a proactive work ethic Strong financial accuracy with cash handling and balancing Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment Strong multitasking and organisational skills Must be reliable, trustworthy, and punctual Computer literate (POS systems, booking platforms, email) Available to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidaysWhat We Offer
