Description:
Design and develop custom automation systems in collaboration with engineering teams
Program, install, and integrate PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley), HMIs, and SCADA systems
Test, commission, and optimize systems to meet technical standards and client expectations
Provide ongoing technical support, troubleshoot faults, and ensure peak system performance
Document system changes, configurations, and maintenance activities accurately
Engage directly with clientsunderstanding needs, delivering training, and ensuring satisfaction
Skills & Experience
Minimum of 3 years in automation or industrial control systems
Proficient in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley preferred).
Experience with HMI and SCADA systems.
Able to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Capable of working independently or as part of a project team.
Knowledge of safety standards, compliance regulations, and system documentation.
Qualifications
BTech or Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering, or a certified Electrician Trade Test
Valid drivers license
Valid passport (required for travel across South Africa and the SADC region)
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
