In a business where systems are evolving and reliability matters, were looking for a Financial Controller who brings structure, consistency, and calm control to the finance engine.This role sits within a growing digital and technology-driven environment where the finance function is hands-on, close to the business, and critical to day-to-day operations. Youll take full ownership of the core accounting function - from journals and reconciliations through to trial balance - while also supporting the admin and HR processes that keep the business running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:
- Full responsibility for journals, reconciliations, and maintaining a clean trial balance
- Managing the accounts payable function, end to end
- Overseeing cash flow and day-to-day financial processing
- Supporting administrative and basic HR-related finance processes
- Ensuring accurate reporting and strong financial discipline
- Playing a key role in the transition from Sage 300 to Xero
- Maintaining sound financial controls and process consistency
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- 510 years experience in a hands-on finance or accounting role
- Strong working knowledge of journals, reconciliations, and trial balance
- Solid accounts payable experience
- Exposure to admin and HR-related finance responsibilities
- Experience on Sage 300 essential; and Xero exposure advantageous
- Comfortable working in a smaller, close-knit environment
- Reliable, detail-focused, and committed to long-term stability
- Formal qualifications are not the priority proven experience and consistency are
