Description:
A Manufacturer in the automotive industry is seeking a Engineering Stores Supervisor to support their logistics/warehousing department. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the daily operations within the store. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to, maintaining stock levels, investigating discrepancies whilst conducting stock takes, cycle counts and spot checks. You will make use of ERPs and inventory software’s to recommend improvements to stock control and handling procedures. You will also be responsible for the supervision and training of new staff members of the store whilst enforcing safety and FIFO practices.
Requirements:
National Diploma or Certificate in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is advantageous
3-5 Years of working experience within a warehouse/stores environment with supervisory experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory software systems
In-depth understanding of warehouse operations and inventory principles
Exceptional organizational and communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines whilst working under pressure
