An Art Gallery based in Cape Town City Centre is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Executive Assistant to join our dynamic team.
Job Type:
6-month contract with a 3-month probation period (with potential for a full-time position upon completion)
Position is is full-time, necessitates daily office attendance and is Cape Town-based.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 9:00 to 17:00
Plus 2 Saturdays a month 10 am to 3:00pm

Key Responsibilities:
- Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the director, including composing and preparing correspondence and managing an active calendar of appointments.
- Communicates directly, and on behalf of the director, with internal and external stakeholders.
- Works closely and effectively with the director to keep him/her well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.
- Researches, prioritises, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the director, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature.
- Manages a variety of special projects for the director.
- All travel arrangements and associated logistics (local, regional and international) for the director.
