Description:
Duties & Responsibilities- Prepare, update, and maintain E&I drawings, layouts, and schematics to project specifications.
- Draft and modify diagrams including single-line diagrams, loop diagrams, cable routing, and termination drawings.
- Ensure all draughting work complies with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Support engineers with the development of technical documentation and project deliverables.
- Assist with the preparation of bills of materials, equipment lists, and design data.
- Liaise with engineers, designers, and project teams to ensure drawings are accurate and integrated across disciplines.
- Maintain drawing records, revision histories, and project databases.
- Provide draughting support during installation, construction, and commissioning phases.Experience & Qualifications
- Relevant diploma or certificate in Electrical Engineering, Draughting, or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience as an Electrical & Instrumentation Draughtsperson in an industrial environment.
- Strong proficiency in draughting/design software such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar tools.
- Sound knowledge of E&I systems, schematics, and applicable industry standards.
- Experience preparing and managing project documentation and technical drawings.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
