A well-established transport company based in Pinetown is seeking a RETIRED Code 14 (EC) driver to train and mentor heavy-duty truck drivers.

This position is ideal for a retired, experienced driver who is not financially dependent on full-time income, but would like to supplement retirement earnings while sharing valuable industry knowledge.Key Requirements:

• Must be officially RETIRED (non-government pension)

• Code 14 (EC) licence with proven heavy-duty experience

• Previous long-distance trucking and trailer experience

• Fluent in isiZulu

• 60 years or older

• Fit and healthy

• Available Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30

• Office-based role (no driving required)

  Too old to drive — but not too old to TEACH drivers.Role Responsibilities:

  • Train and mentor heavy-duty truck drivers

  • Conduct mostly in-office training and guidance

  • Improve driver professionalism, safety, and conduct

  • Share real-world experience and best practicesPackage:

    • R12,000 – R14,000 per month (all-inclusive)
