Description:
A professional real estate company is looking for an experienced Accountant with expertise in financial reporting, tax compliance, and client management. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to handle multiple clients, and support junior team members while maintaining strong client relationships.
Responsibilities:

Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, including companies, trusts, and individuals, across multiple sectors.

Process intercompany transactions and maintain accurate intercompany loan records.
-
Prepare accruals, monthly management accounts, and final trial balances.
-
Draft financial statements (preferably using CaseWare) and client-specific management reports.
-
Handle foreign exchange transactions and international dealings.
-
Complete income tax, provisional tax, and VAT calculations and submissions.
-
Review junior clerks’ management reports before submission to directors.
-
Perform payroll functions, including payslip creation and EMP201/EMP501 submissions.
-
Conduct monthly reconciliations for VAT, bank accounts, creditors, and debtors.
-
Manage CIPC administration, UIF registrations, and SARS compliance.
-
Assist in VAT and provisional tax audits as required.
-
Mentor junior team members and support their development.
-
Communicate effectively with clients and suppliers to maintain strong professional relationships.
Requirements:

Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
-
Proven experience in managing client portfolios and preparing management accounts.

Strong knowledge of tax compliance, payroll, and SARS procedures.

Practical experience with foreign exchange and international transactions.
-
Proficiency with financial reporting software, preferably CaseWare.
-
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
-
Ability to mentor junior staff and manage multiple client priorities.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
