Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum of 3 years' experience in Accounting, internal audit or finance management Proficient in Sage Evolution and MS Excel Responsibilities:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and internal controls Experience in managing commitment registers and budget monitoring is an advantage Familiarity with audit processes and financial reporting standards Maintain and manage the commitment register to ensure a timely and accurate recording of financial commitments Monitor commitments for compliance with approved budgets and procurement procedures Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures and internal controls Assist with the preparation and coordination of external audits Respond to queries and provide necessary documentation for both internal and external audit processes Prepare accurate and timely financial and management reports for decision making Support continuous improvement in financial systems and processes
