VACANCY: MESSENGER DRIVER (LAW FIRM)
Positions: 2
Location: Fourways (Johannesburg) & Valhalla (Pretoria)
Salary: R10,000 per month
A well-established law firm operating in Johannesburg and Pretoria seeks to appoint two experienced Messenger Drivers—one for the Johannesburg region and one for the Pretoria region.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery and collection of legal documents to and from courts, sheriffs, law firms, and other stakeholders Safe handling of confidential legal documentation Accurate record-keeping, including delivery notes and returns of service Basic administrative duties, including data capture on MS Word and Excel Opening, managing, and safeguarding physical files Following up on outstanding documents and queries Maintaining professionalism, punctuality, and strict adherence to deadlinesMinimum Requirements:
Grade 12 Valid Code B/Code 8 driver’s licence Previous experience as a messenger driver in a law firm (essential) Fluency in English (vernacular languages advantageous) Knowledge of court procedures and legal document handling Excellent time management, reliability, and discretion Good knowledge of Gauteng (Johannesburg, Pretoria, and surrounding areas) Johannesburg applicants: preferably residing in Cosmo City or Diepsloot Pretoria applicants: preferably residing in AtteridgevilleAdditional Skills:
Law-abiding and skilled driver Strong administrative and numerical ability Customer service orientated Basic computer literacy (Word, Outlook, Excel) Additional Information:
