A reputable company is seeking qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanics to join its operations team in the Rustenburg Area.
Diesel MechanicMinimum Requirements:

Trade Test Certificate as a Diesel Mechanic
-
Minimum 3–5 years’ post-trade experience
-
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
-
Experience on heavy duty plant, trucks and/or mining equipment (advantageous)
-
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
-
Willingness to work overtime and breakdowns when required
-
Valid driver’s licence
-
Medically fit Key Responsibilities:
-
Perform servicing, maintenance and repairs on diesel vehicles and equipment
-
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
-
Conduct preventative maintenance inspections
-
Complete job cards and maintenance reports accurately
-
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures We are seeking a Diesel Mechanic Foreman to oversee and manage workshop operations and diesel maintenance teams.Minimum Requirements:
-
Trade Test Certificate as a Diesel Mechanic
-
5–8 years’ experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/foreman role
-
Proven leadership and people-management skills
-
Strong planning, scheduling and reporting abilities
-
Extensive knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics and heavy equipment
-
Valid driver’s licence

Medically fit Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the work of diesel mechanics
-
Allocate tasks and ensure productivity targets are met
-
Ensure quality control on all mechanical work
-
Manage breakdowns, preventative maintenance and repairs
-
Enforce health and safety compliance in the workshop
-
Maintain maintenance records, job cards and reports
-
Liaise with management regarding equipment availability and performance
