As the CFO, you will be responsible for leading the companys financial strategy, planning, and governance to support its long-term objectives. Youll partner closely with the CEO and executive team to provide strategic insight, ensure sound financial management, and safeguard the companys assets and profitability.
Duties:
Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement long-term financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts aligned to business goals. Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and accuracy of management accounts, financial statements, and variance analyses. Budget & Expenditure Management: Manage budgets, monitor costs, and drive initiatives to enhance expenditure control and efficiency. Compliance & Governance: Ensure full compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and Bidvest Group policies. Financial Management: Oversee cash flow, working capital, and cost control, while identifying opportunities to improve financial performance. Reporting & Analysis: Provide financial insights and scenario analyses to guide executive decision-making and business growth. Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team that exemplifies excellence and accountability.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
Matric (Grade 12) BCom Accounting BCom Honours / CTA CA(SA) / CIMA
Experience:
510 years senior management experience within a complex, fast-paced environment - - ideally within manufacturing, logistics, or large corporate sectors. Strong proficiency in financial systems (ERP/SYSPRO), advanced Excel, and financial modelling. Proven ability to influence at executive level and lead transformation in financial management and performance.
