Duties:
Design and build end-to-end BI solutions, integrating multiple data sources into the reporting data warehouse Extract, transform, and load data using Microsoft BI technologies Collaborate with end users and analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications Estimate development effort and provide technical insights to management Support and enhance existing BI platforms and reports Reverse engineer, refine, and optimise BI processes Mentor junior BI developers and promote industry best practices
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
Matric (Grade 12) Relevant qualification in Computer Information Systems with majors in Information Management, Finance, or Mathematics (NQF 6+) Degree (NQF 7+) preferred
Experience:
3+ years experience in ETL / BI Development within Microsoft BI Stack (SQL Server, SSIS) Strong technical experience: MS SQL Server, SQL, SSIS, DevOps, PowerApps 1+ years report development experience using Power BI Advanced understanding of ETL methodologies and the full SDLC Experience designing BI solutions using Kimball methodology Strong knowledge of data modelling concepts
