Job Title: Workshop Foreman

Location: Hyundai Western Cape Region


We are seeking a Workshop Foreman to lead our team of technicians and mechanics in our workshop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive or mechanical engineering and extensive experience in managing a workshop.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of technicians and mechanics to ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
- Plan and schedule work orders to meet deadlines and customer expectations
- Monitor and maintain inventory of tools and supplies
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of workshop equipment
- Conduct regular inspections of work in progress to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Train and mentor technicians to improve their skills and performance
- Communicate with customers to provide updates on work in progress and address any concerns

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a workshop foreman or similar supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of automotive or mechanical engineering
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks
- Proficient in computer systems and software related to workshop management
