Description:
Responsibilities:- Generate new business and expand client accounts in clearing and forwarding
- Build strong, trusted relationships with clients across international trade sectors
- Understand client shipping needs and propose tailored import/export solutions
- Negotiate contracts, rates, and service agreements effectively
- Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth customs clearance and shipment delivery
- Keep up to date with trade regulations, market trends, and competitor activity Requirements:
- Proven B2B sales or business development experience (clearing, forwarding, or international logistics)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Knowledge of customs, import/export documentation, and regulations highly desirable
- Target-driven, ambitious, and results-oriented
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
