Description:
You will act as the primary point of contact, providing a warm welcome and ensuring guests' needs are met with personalized attention throughout their stay, as well as curating guest experiences by providing expert knowledge on local attractions, booking spa treatments, and arranging excursions. The lodge features 22 luxury units in total, accommodating up to approximately 54 guests.Core criteria:
- A qualification in Hospitality would be beneficial
- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous
- Must have good communication and administration skills
- Must have excellent staff management skills
- Financial management skills an advantage
- Must be able to work well under pressureKey responsibilities:
- Previous experience with HTI, Nebula POS and PMS is essential.
- Managing and supervising the receptionist and reception department.
- Managing the SPA department.
- Stand in for the reservations consultant on off day, public holidays and sick days.
- Deliver warm, professional guest service and handle guest queries with confidence.
- Hosting guest activities, meals, and lodge events when required.
- Work opposite the F & B manager in an operations role.
- Manage guest communication, schedules, and daily lodge coordination.
- Maintain accurate guest records, billing support, and administrative tasks.
- Liaise with housekeeping, guiding, kitchen and maintenance teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Must be experienced in general HR and have a sound knowledge of the labour law.
- Excellent communication skills and well spoken.
- Knowledge and experience of overall hospitality operations.
- Confident team Player with positive attitude & enthusiasm.
- Excellent time management and self-discipline.
- Excellent Guest liaison skills.
- Have a strong eye for detail concerning all lodge rooms, service & food.This is a live-in position. Meals are included. 24 Days on, 6 days off
Salary: R10kpm (depending on experience). Provident fund included
