Position: Junior Chef / Cook
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Requirements:
- Basic cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation
- Ability to follow recipes and kitchen instructions accurately
- Understanding of basic food hygiene and safety standards
- Willingness to learn and take guidance from senior kitchen staff
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation and cooking
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
- Assist with stock handling and basic kitchen duties
- Ensure food quality and consistency
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times
Experience & Qualifications:
- Previous kitchen experience is an advantage and essential
- Some Culinary training or certificate is required
- On-the-job training will be provided
