This role is perfect for someone who's equally hands-on and strategic - a designer who can execute outstanding visuals while guiding creative direction that supports business goals.
Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of graphic designers.
Drive creative concepts across.
Branding & packaging .
signage & catalogues.
Digital Marketing & email campaigns.
Web & Social media content.
Trade shows & Promotional materials.
Ensure brand consistency across all visual touchpoints.
Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and product teams.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
Stay ahead of design trends within the lighting and design industries.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
5+years professional design experience.
2+years in a leadership or managerial role.
Strong portfolio showcasing branding, layout, digital & print work.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, photoshop, InDesign).
Proven ability to take projects from concept to completion.
Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
Thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Eager to learn, grow, and lead.
Based in or near Muizenberg and available immediately.
