SENIOR SYSTEMS ENGINEER
Cape Radiology www.caperad.co.za a leading radiology practice in Cape Town's Southern Suburbs seeks to employ an IT Senior Systems Engineer.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, managing and maintaining Windows platforms, VMWare, antivirus solutions, backup and recovery systems, VoIP, networking, PACS and RIS systems. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our IT infrastructure.
Applicants who meet the following requirements will be considered:
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as MCSE, VCP, or equivalent.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Systems Engineer.
- Proficiency in managing Windows Server environments and VMWare.
- Strong knowledge of antivirus solutions, backup and recovery processes, VoIP, and networking.
- Experience with PACS and RIS systems in a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
