Description:
Our Towing and Roadside Assistance company based in Johannesburg is looking to hire an experienced Tata Mechanic to join our team. Requirements are as follows:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair towing (4 ton Tata trucks) and roadside assist vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, brakes, suspension, clutch, gearbox, etc.)
- Diagnose engine, transmission, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Repair and maintain towing equipment (winches, chains, hydraulic arms, flatbeds)
- Conduct pre-service and post-service vehicle inspections
- Respond to roadside breakdowns when required
- Ensure vehicles comply with safety and roadworthiness standards
- Work additional hours as required by the company and be available on standby for emergency callouts.
Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience as a TATA vehicle mechanic
