Job Description
My client is looking for an outgoing Afrikaans-speaking Citrus Specialist to work closely with farmers in procuring fruit mainly Citrus. Must have own reliable car and be willing to travel. And MUST live in Limpopo/ Northern Mpumalanga you will be servicing the Hoedspruit/ Tzaneen area and further north. Below are some key responsibilities of the position:
- Procurement of Citrus products
- Maintain stringent export requirements of fruit for export
- Technical advisory service to farmers
- Ensure operations and logistic requirements are adhered to and product supplied to meet demand
- Ensure ongoing supply of fruit to the packhouse
- Working knowledge of GlobalGap and HACCP and get these implemented and maintained at Grower level.
Qualifications
Must have a relevant Tertiary Qualification either in Agric or Business
