Service Sales Supporter Reports to: Head of Service (BC Service Manager)
Purpose of Position:
To facilitate and be the main conduit for conversions between the Customer and the company. This position is put in place to create and ensure a proactive approach to solving problems around part redundancies, complex supersessions & customer requested additional Formats
For the purposes of this Job Description the term "Conversions" shall cover:
Machine / Line modernizations Machine / Line upgrades Format Changes, i.e. Customer requests for new products / services but excluding normal spare parts business Customer GmbH Machine / Line related Service Products but excluding traditional service interventions Customer GmbH Machine / Line related consumable productsMain Interactions Customers:
Proactively push for lists of parts no longer supported Notification of parts no longer supported with solutions costed Liaise with respect to key dates in the supply chain Manage requisite information flow between the right shareholders at company and customer Do the costing on the system and supply customers with the necessary invoices / costing according to the system Attend necessary conversion related meetings at customer sites Where required, manage the conversion projects at customer sites. Attend SPP meetings where required, at the Customer sites. Service Products Sales Manager: Daily Feedback regarding progress on various conversions / projects Get guidance when project needs escalating Work with the Manager to expedite ordersTechnical Plant & Machine
Needs to be able to identify the basic machines and have a good process understanding Main thing is to be able to ask and pull in the right people / specialists where and when required; i.e. assemble a multi-disciplinary team when neededParts & Parts Management
Be able to interrogate BOMs of machine park to search for successions Be fluent with Parts ordering, forwarding, freight & clearing process in order to be able to successfully expediteCompetencies:
Planning Skills-Must be well organized and methodical to ensure all the necessary steps in the process of offering, securing, procuring, delivery of a project are meticulously completed
Facilitator Skills-Must be able to run meetings
