Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting & Compliance
Lead preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting Review and approve accruals, prepayments, deferred revenue, and complex reconciliations Maintain audit-ready documentation and support external audits Oversee tax compliance (corporate, employee, VAT) and manage cash-flow forecasting Financial Operations & Governance
Ensure general ledger integrity and implement robust internal controls Monitor revenue recognition across subscription, project-based, and managed services models Drive compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal policies Develop and enforce financial policies, procedures, and risk controls Business Partnering & Planning
Provide financial insights to support strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting Analyse cost drivers to identify savings and optimisation opportunities Partner with operational leaders on financial modelling, margin analysis, pricing, and scenario planning Present financial results and recommendations to senior leadership Leadership & Team Management
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team Allocate work effectively to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and strong delivery Champion automation, continuous improvement, and best practice Systems & Process Improvement
Drive finance automation and digital transformation initiatives Oversee implementation and optimisation of ERP and accounting platforms (e.g. NetSuite, Sage, SAP, Xero, or similar) Improve integration between finance, procurement, IT, and operations Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education: Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA / ACCA / CIMA preferred Experience:
57 years progressive financial management experience Proven people management and leadership experience Strong exposure to IT, SaaS, managed services, or technology-driven environments Technical Skills:
In-depth IFRS knowledge and revenue recognition expertise Advanced Excel proficiency ERP system experience (SAP, Sage, NetSuite, or equivalent) Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis capability Core Competencies:
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills with the ability to translate financial data for non-financial stakeholders
