Description:
We are seeking a skilled, self-motivated Field Service Technician to provide technical support to clients, carry out repairs, and commission equipment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance, maintaining accurate records, and supporting both internal teams and customers on-site and remotely.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Compile written reports for clients, including detailed record-keeping of repairs and returns Prepare, submit, and maintain records of warranty claims Provide telephonic and on-site technical support to customers Offer technical support to the internal sales team Ensure compliance with ISO requirements Commission equipment and systems Evaluate and troubleshoot problems related to specific applications where equipment is used Attend to equipment breakdowns efficiently and professionally Travel as required, including after-hours work and cross-border support Assist with spare stock control and warehousing activities Support customer quotations when required Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by managementRequirements
Qualified Electrician or Technician with an N3 Certificate or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering Practical experience in Control Systems, with exposure to Electronics and/or Pneumatics Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in Control Systems Valid Drivers LicenceContract Type
Contract position with the opportunity to transition to permanent employment
