Key Responsibilities:Design and Analysis: Develop structural and mechanical designs for abattoir facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and local regulations. Collaborative Design: Work closely with architects, engineers, and construction teams to create integrated, high-performance building designs. Site Assessments and Surveys: Conduct site assessments to identify challenges and opportunities, ensuring the design is suitable for the intended use. Project Coordination: Lead or support project teams in the execution of design and construction plans, maintaining timelines and quality standards. Sustainability Focus: Design for operational efficiency and sustainability, considering energy use, waste management, and environmental impact in design solutions. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure designs meet regulatory standards for health, safety, and environmental laws. Problem Solving: Offer engineering solutions to resolve any issues during design, construction, or operational phases of the project. Cost and Budget Management: Estimate costs and prepare budgets for design and construction phases, ensuring adherence to financial constraints Key Requirements:
Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline. Experience: Proven experience as a Structural or Design Engineer. Prior experience in abattoir design, food processing, or related industrial facility design is preferred.
