Description:
Key Responsibilities:- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including the general ledger, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly management accounts and operational cost reports.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure accurate financial planning.
- Collaborate with operational teams to optimize cost structures and improve efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, controls, and processes.
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- BCom Degree (completed articles preferred).
- 35 years post-articles experience in a similar role.
- Exposure to mining, engineering, or manufacturing environments is essential.
- Strong understanding of financial fundamentals and operational processes.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
