Engineering qualification: Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Automation. 25 years technical sales experience in industrial automation or robotics. Hands-on understanding of robot systems (pick & place, palletising, welding, assembly, packaging). Ability to read technical drawings and propose engineered solutions. Valid drivers licence + own vehicle.Job Experience & Skills Required
Promote and sell industrial robots into manufacturing, packaging, automotive, and general industry. Conduct site visits, assess automation needs, and recommend robot solutions. Work closely with integrators, OEMs, and end-users to scope applications. Prepare quotes, solution proposals, and ROI justifications for customers. Support demos, trials, customer training, and new system commissioning where required. Build and manage a strong sales pipeline while developing new business. Strong technical communication skills able to explain robotics in simple, practical terms.
