Description:
Duties and Responsibilities- Prepare vehicle surfaces through sanding, masking, and priming
- Mix and match paint colours according to manufacturer specifications
- Apply paint coats using spray guns and professional refinishing equipment
- Perform polishing, touch ups, and final finishing work
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and consistency
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Collaborate with body repair technicians and workshop supervisors
Experience and Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Spray Painter
- Strong knowledge of paint systems, mixing techniques, and refinishing processes
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
- Sound understanding of health and safety requirements
- Relevant trade certifications are advantageous
- Ability to perform in a fast paced workshop environment
- Afrikaans proficiency is required
