Description:
Lead and execute the organisations financial strategy, supporting long-term growth and sustainability
Oversee cash management and liquidity to ensure operational and investment requirements are met
Monitor, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks
Direct the organisations capital structure, fundraising approach, and investment decisions
Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and forecasts for executive stakeholders and the board
Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement
Ensure robust financial governance, legal compliance, and adherence to internal policies
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and financial institutions
Take ownership of company secretarial requirements and oversee contractual governance
Act as custodian of financial controls, reporting frameworks, and performance measurement systems
Skills & Experience:
CA(SA) / CIMA designation
Minimum 8+ years experience performing the full finance function
Proven experience in a senior leadership position
Consolidation and Intercompany transaction experience is non-negotiable
Qualification:
CA(SA) or ACMA, CGMA
