Key Responsibilities:
Manage the daily operations of the commercial vehicle service department to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery. Lead, motivate, and develop a team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff to achieve departmental goals. Monitor financial performance, including labour sales, workshop efficiency, and profitability. Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure consistent delivery of exceptional service standards. Implement and oversee warranty, maintenance, and service processes in line with OEM and dealership policies. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and manufacturer requirements. Report on key metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement.Requirements:
Proven experience in a Service Manager or Aftersales Manager role, ideally within a commercial vehicle or franchised dealership environment. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Excellent understanding of workshop operations, technical processes, and financial reporting. Customer-oriented with the ability to handle escalations professionally and effectively. Valid drivers licence and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
