Job Title: Civil Construction Site Engineer / Construction ManagerProject Area: Uganda
Responsible for all site-related project execution relating to utility-scale PV projects.
Minimum qualifications and experience:
BSc/BEng (Civil Engineering or Construction Management) PrEng 5+ years' experience in the management of large-scale projects. 3+ years' Experience in the construction and implementation of PV projects. Experience in large-scale CSP and Molten Salt storage projects will be advantageous. Creating and maintaining technical documentation of project installations, construction projects, network, process control, and data exchange-related installations. Understanding of the relevant technical codes, regulations, and standards relating to the development of renewable energy projects in Europe will be advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and AutoCAD and Revit is required. Basic knowledge of PVSol, PVSyst, PVCase, and SAM will be advantageous. A working knowledge of FIDIC contracts and management will be advantageous. Experience with Primavera P6 and MS Project will be advantageous. Experience with Aconex Construction Management Software will be advantageous. Willingness to travel and spend time on site. The successful incumbent will be responsible for:
Site Mobilisation and Setup Construction Planning and Execution Contractor and Workforce Management Quality Assurance and Control Health, Safety and Environmental Compliance (HSE) Material and Equipment Management Stakeholder Coordination and Communication Progress Monitoring and Reporting Commissioning Support and Handover Post-Construction Activities
